Brake woes part two Posted by MJB [Email] |
98 with 158k mi
I put on new rear calipers rotors pads
Bleeding ineffective with sound of fluid squirting as pedal sank to floor
Rebuilt master cylinder w/ kit from Skandix.
Replaced front brake lines as hoses were shot and seized to lines and installed new front ABS speed sensors which were bad when I purchased car in 2016.
Brake pedal is still mush although the squirting noise is gone.
ABS light checks, goes out. Drive car it comes on. Car does stop, eventually. Brakes lock up momentarily then pedal sinks brakes let up.
The ABS pump never kicks on(it never has)
Checked fuses and moved relays in and out to see if that would make a difference.
None. Front calipers were replaced in 2017 with about 40k miles.
I've pressure bled lines numerous times now.
Any suggestions? Sort of at wits end.
Thanks
