The control module is the bulky thing under the hood attached to the throttl lever (together with the throttle cable). Every issue I have seen with all the 9000’s I have had turned out to be the switch. Try spraying some contact cleaner on the switch and rocking it up and down as well as side to side. Once on, don’t turn it off 😀
