Eagle One makes something called a "tire swipe" that is basically a foam brush with the correct curve to go over a tire. Even if you don't use their dressing (too shiny for my tastes) it makes putting it on really easy. Also works great for the mirrors and such for those of us with early 9ks. I dot my in a free "detail kit" but I assume they're available in stores too.
