If you've got a large rip in the rubber part of the bushing, then I'd say the mount is shot. What's more, I would inspect the lower mounts right away. It's been my experience that the lower mounts fail first, and the additional movement then eats up the upper mount.
The extra torque is definately going to stress the mounts. And again, if one mount fails, the others won't be far behind.
I'm not sure if the Aero's have stiffer mounts. You can get urethane mounts, a solid piece instead of the rubber/hydraulic of the stock mount. I can say from personal experience that the stiffer, solid mounts can cause more vibration. How much, and if it's objectionable, is up to you and the individual car. I put the more solid upper mounts into two almost identical 9000's - in one there was no additional vibration, and in the other, you could use the steering wheel as a paint shaker. With the 'shaker', I went to the stock upper mount, and the car was smooth.
Check your lower mounts - I'll bet you'll find them failed also.
Good luck!
