Hey! I have a concern: I bought an 89 9KT CD about 6 months ago at 104K miles and now have 118K on her. I love this car and commute 100 miles/day. I have all the service records and it appears that the timing belt/chain has never been replaced. So, is this one of those belts that, when it brakes, destroys the engine? Should I just go ahead and do the job? I plan on driving the car another 50K. Any idea of the cost.....should I do it at the dealer so that if problems occur I will have easy recourse???? Any info is greatly appreciated. Should I gamble or not, of course I would love to avoid the job? Thanks all, jb
