1. I've seen some posts a month back about the sending unit for the fuel level. Might have been one of the 900 bb. But if its acting up, I guess you could find one at a junk yard and try a swap. Not to $$ I would guess.
2. That is the cabin air temp sensor. There is a mini fan that circulates the air into this sensor to get accurate readings. Mine is noisy too.. also runs while the car is off. Get a new one if it bothers you and swap it out.
3. If you have the aero you have hpt, even a high output one at that. You can see if there is a controller mounted on the radiator with three hoses running down to the turbo. There is no gas mileage difference in the two systems, unless your peddle is on the floor all the time. The lpt is the exact same as the hpt just lacks ability to produce higher turbo outputs = more power. I want to convert my father's 97 lpt. I should just let him borrow my aero for a day and he'll be sold. For under a grand you can convert to the hpt.. just a marketing scheme in my eyes. Unless insurance rates take horse power into concideration? anyone know?
