The CD models had an optional trunk spoiler. It was a dealer installed item from what I have gathered. Most places won't seperate the spoiler from the trunk either. The dealer wants $450 for the spoiler. Camelback out of Arizona quoted me $400 including shipping as a first time buyer. I just got mine in the mail. It is a fairly nice piece. Most places call it a bridge spoiler but it does not look like the bridge spoilers on the hatchback versions in my opinion. It has two center posts that screw down and the outer two posts are a tape down. The outer two posts slant down and swoop forward slightly. The overhang the trunk by about 1/4" on either side. I just got mine after searching junkyards for the past two months and UPS damaged it. Now they want me to send it back. I'm not about ready to let go of it though. I considered buying one from Erebuni at http://www.spoilers.com from a BMW 5 series. My holdup was the tiny pictures and whether it would fit. I was leaning towards #61.
The decor panel was changed in 91 as I recall. I have an extra one for an 89. My brothers girlfriend has a 92 CD and it has a small one only covering the top 1/3 of the trunk. My 89 is a large one and fills in the height of the tailights and is grey like the bumpers. Bill at Kippy's Saab sells them occasionally on E-bay. Not cheap from the dealer.
Someone else will have to help you on the CD designation. I know there were some 900 CD's. They were four door sedans sans hatchback also. I have the original window sticker with my 89 and the final price was over 32K without all the options. These things were expensive.
