I've been running the pads for about 600 miles now, so I just finihsed the bedding in. This is what I think.

For normal stopping the pads are slightly better than the pads that were on my car originally. This is by a couple of feet. However under panic/ emergency stopping these pads truly hold their own. I spent last night speeding and then slamming my brakes and the car stops almost instantly. THe steering wheel never sudders and I don't feel any vibrations from the wheels. With out a doubt these are the smoothest brakes I've ever used and they appear to give that extra stopping power during panic and sudden braking. I'm going to get a distance for 60-zero stopping and I'll post that once it's done.

They are not however dust free. My front rims were covered in brake dust. I am hoping that it is a combination of dirt and mud from trenential rains we had and brake dust that formed because the brakes are new. I've cleaned the wheels off and I'll let you know if they do stay dust free.

I also just switched my car to 3 quarts regular w/ 2 quarts of mobil synthetic. I want to make sure I'm not going to start getting blow by with full synthetic and this way if I start burning oil I'll just stop with synthetic. But its unbelievable how fast the car turns over now. I run 20w 50 because of traffic and heat in florida and the car always took a few cranks of the starter to catch. Now I just turn the key and the engine roars to life before I can ever hear the first crank of the starter.
