I've been using NuFinish for 15 or 20 years and find it excellent for durability, gloss, and ease of use. It has scored very high in tests (like Cons. Rep.) for years, including one about a year ago, but some have remarked that it attracts dust more readily than others. I do notice some dust attraction, but haven't tried other products to compare. Dust can be readily whisked away with a California Duster, so this isn't a major factor for me to do every other day or so. It's a one-minute proposition.
I use it with an orbital buffer and find the paste about as easy to apply as the liquid, and the former is purported to be a bit better. The paste is very soft, similar in texture to tub margarine, and I use a regular table knife to apply it to the buffer pad like I would butter bread, except there's no need to apply it smoothly on the pad.
I get no streaking in my black paint if applied when the surface is cool.
