9000i, 1988, non turbo, 125,000 miles, manual gearbox.
Problem: first thing in the morning and when the car has been left its is nearly impossible to put the car in to 1st and 2nd gear, most the the clutch pedal travel seems to do nothing.
Once the car has run for a few miles things improve and I get significantly more clutch travel.
From reading this board for months I'm pretty sure what you guys are going to say but I really want to confirm. I presume slave cylinder, its note posible to tell which of the master and slave it is?
If its slave I presume a new clutch would be sensible?
Thks
Mike
