I have an 86 9000 T with over 200,000 miles and it is still running like new. I think mabye a bit more acceleration than my 97 9000 cse. I plan on maintaining the 86 until the body rusts out because the maintnance costs are actually very low. The 97 cse has 64,000 miles and is like a new car. I plan on haveing it a long time, esepecially now that I know a few tricks to prevent rust on the 9000.
I know a guy in Sweden who had a 94 9000 and when he heard that 98 was the last year for the 9000 body style, he ordered a 98 because he loves that body style. I agree and think the 9000 body may be the best car body ever. So practical and versital. I think we should all boycot SAAB until they make the 9000 again, atleat the Areo.
