...inside the wheel well where the stock airbox sits. That's where you'll get cool air flow. Where you have mounted it you will suck warm air and that should (at best) keep your original performance. You will most probably see lower performance figures. If you do want to mount it where you have it now, you need to shield it from the warm air in the engine compartmant and preferably have some sort of funnel to "ram-feed" air to the filter. But, like I said, the preferred place to mount an open filter in a 9000 is the wheel well.
