Get a reasonable-sized piece of stranded wire, say 18 AWG, about three feet long. A piece of standard house appliance wire would do fine, but you'd want to rip the two conductors down the length so that you would have only one of the two normal conductors. Remove the DI, ten remove the plugs. Insret the flugs into the four plug boots. Strip off enough insulation so you can wrap bare wire around the threads of each spark plug (probably a foot and a half or so of bare wire). Twist the wire after looping each plug to ensure good contact, then strip the end and secure it under a bolt or nut on the engine; or secure it to the frame, but make sure there's a bare metal ground. Make sure the plugs are well seated in the boots, that they're alll well grounded with the common ground wire, and that you don't have fuel present. With the DI harness connected, crank the engine and look for sparks at the plugs. If sparks, all is well. If not. it may be a bad DI or it may be a bad connection.

Alo, see if the tach needle bounces (indicates that the crank sensor signal is present.
