when I was doing research for my own "Transplant" ('88 9KT) I happened to look in the owners manual for the '90 saab 9000. If I recall correctly, the gear ratios were different than they were for the '88. I beleive the '88 and '89 were the same. The 5 speed standard and turbo trannys also have different gear ratios.The turbo tranny final output ratio is almost the same as the auto tranny. The owners manuals list these ratios, and are a good place to look.

I imagine that some of the users here can provide this exact gear ratio imformation if you ask a specific question. Just because the ratios are different does not mean that the final result will be unacceptable, however your speedometer will be off.
