I had the same leak on the rear driver's side, wetting the headliner on the pillar and spilling over the headrests. After cleaning the tubes and re-adjusting the sunroof (it didn't quite close all the way) it did stop for several weeks. But the next rain it started to leak again, although not quite as bad. Like you I have good rubber on the hatch, although I can get water to leak when using the pressured water from a self carwash aimed from several feet away. This doesn't convince me as the odd angle could have forced water inside and secondly my hatch doesn't fit flush, rises just a bit, and should probably be adjusted. Which looks to be a pain in the ass. I believe my true problem is the sunroof seal. While not bad, it has separated enough from the metal to allow more water in than the drain channels can handle. I have heard of someone trying to add a bead of silicone around the perimeter of the drain channel to increase its depth and allow more water to flow. Not sure that worked. But I'm open to new ideas until I finally break down and replace the seal.
