I remember my Dad's '85 Accord having such a switch, as well!

I too often only listen to the CD, and do didn't want my antenna sticking up all the time, or running up and down when I didn't need it.

All I did was disconnect (ok, CUT) the wire from the stock stereo harness which triggers the antenna - don't have the manual on me now, but I believe this was a grey wire in my '87. I then put in an illuminated rocker switch - one terminal to power, one to ground, and one to the antenna wire that I just cut. The switch fits perfectly in the blank switch location next to the sunroof switch in the center console.

The only problem is, I get static through the stereo when the antenna motor is running. I don't think this was the case before, and I'm not exactly sure why it is now.. The only thing I can think is that there is no relay, or in other words, the antenna motor is powered directly from the switch, and when it is running, there are some voltage spikes coming back down the power line (which is the same one my stereo is connected to).
