Compared to other 9000s, the Aero is darned quick and handles well. It has 200HP (Auto) or 225HP (Manual). Also 250lbft torque from 1800 RPM to about 4000 RPM for the manual. Suspension is lower and stiffer than other variants with thicker anti-roll bars. It also has the most gorgeous leather seats fitted to any 9000 (exclusive to the Aero, and never bettered even on the 9-5).

Ran from 1993-1997, with higher gearing from 1994. 1993 (and some 1994?) had traction control as standard and this was permanently enabled. Switchable in 1994 and I think optional in 1995. 1996-on had no traction control. I mention this because some people don't like it. It is certainly something else that can (and sometimes does) go wrong, and the "limp-home" mode entered when it fails is unpleasant to drive with. I've experienced myself with my previous car (a '90 9000 CD).

I have a '96 Aero and it is the first car I've had in years that I intend to keep for years to come - it's my 3rd 9000 in a row. It's silver and fast and fun and lovely...

... anyway, you get the drift. The Aero is a car many 9000 owners aspire to owning, and I count myself very lucky.

Hope this rather biased opinion has helped. I have no pricing info for the US (the giveaway is that you called them "fenders"). Good luck.
