That's is what I'm holding out for. Any idea when we might see this?
I know they already make glass windows where you can electrically switch between transparent and opaque (or translucent / semi-opaque). Based on liquid crystals, I believe. Or some electrochromic technology.
Or how about just plain photochromic glass? Like in sunglasses. Darkens when it's sunny, and clear when it's not sunny. I would prefer that to dark all the time, wouldn't you?
