It sounds like your are in Europe. I picked up my 83 900T from the factory in Sweden in May or 83. The factory gap on the plugs was .026. Yes, mine was a U.S. model, but it was set to run in Europe, before I brought it back to the States. I have an 87 9000S U.S. spec car running Bosch platinum +4 plugs. Before you dump the Champions for the NGKs, check your gap. I really like the +4 plugs. My Saabtech friend runs them in his 87 9000T. I switched after he tried them, and there is no gap to worry about.
