whether or not you have a hole in your exhaust? Assuming it's past the catalytic converter, the emissions are going to be the same regardless of how the gasses exit, right? Is it an issue of noise? Does the government want cars to be not noisy? What is the test for a hole, subjective visual inspection and an arbitrary hole size standard? Decibels above a certain level even if no hole can be seen?
Just wondering...
