it takes more than cranking up the wastegate. I have a ported head 3 inch exhaust from the turbo,, new turbo controls, bigger injectors, rise in rate fuel regulator, aftermarket ignition, etc etc...

you could add a bleed and that would spike the boost. You could probably get it to peak to 14.7psi, the point where the overboost switch kicks in. BUT, , I've heard post '89 2.0Ls have the overboost integrated into the ECU. Therein lies a new can of worms I know little about. Try the performance board or email the boys at http://www.spg9.com, as they know more than most about these systems.
