Yes, I fitted a 3" cat supplied by SpeedParts (a "CatCo" unit).
I'm happy now that the initial poor results were due to the hottest two days we've had here this year (took it for a blast late last night and it was much better). Even in the heat, boost was fine, but it wasn't producing the power it normally does.

I'm starting to wonder whether the mixture was a bit lean to start with - I had the plugs out about 200 miles after fitting them to reset the gap after all the discussion here, and I thought they looked a bit white even then.

Oh, and my 9K would also be a "real beast" driving on ice...
