My 17 inch versions don't squeal at all, even descending tight mountain switchbacks.

I've had only average wear, but that was do to 10K of high speed driving on chip-sealed roads and a lot on gravel roads this summer,,,,not norla driving even by my standards. Wet performance is GREAT, and I should know living on the wettest coast on the continent. My wear issues may be too to too much toe-out and negative camber. I'll definately go to a 205/45/17 next time because of all the potholes in Vancouver, and maybe that will help a bit on wear to the insides. I have too much power for a FWD car, which is yet another problem attirting to wear.

They look good, have a lot of meat on them (which is why they may have got poor reviews), have a rim protector, are Z rated, and are a damn good price. I've had Yokos AVS Av1 before. I'll take the Avons again for sure.
