Abbott springs and dampers on an Aero?

Having found out the price of Saab springs (I was considering using stiffer OEM springs on my '96 Aero), I have decided it would be much cheaper to go with the springs from Abbott Racing. Having spoken to Abbott, I would appreciate feedback from anyone who has had these springs and/or the Koni shocks fitted to a 9000 Aero.

1. Abbott's web site says the springs lower a 9000 by 30mm. When I expressed concern about lowering an Aero by 30mm, I was told that when fitted to an Aero, these springs will lower the car by only about 10mm. My arithmetic says that since an Aero is already 5-8mm lower than a standard 9K (a function of the Aero springs, I assume), the Abbott springs will lower it by 30mm minus 8mm = 22mm minimum. What is the actual figure?

2. How do these springs ride? I know this is subjective but I want to make sure my car is still comfortable to ride in.

3. The Konis seem a little expensive from Abbott. I can get Konis elsewhere for the 9000 at a considerable saving (£80, US$110). I am assuming these will be the same as those supplied from Abbott. Koni only make one front shock and one rear shock for the 9000, yes? I wasn't given a choice of units by any of the other Koni dealers.
