I am planning to get spintech. Seems to have new, interesting, and unique technology. Claims that the fiberglass stuffing in all the other me-too freeflow mufflers deteriorates over time. (Am surprised steveC in BC didn't mention it as he I believe he has them.)
What I am wondering is, can one go to just any Bubba's Muffler Shop with a Spintech (or Magnaflow or whatever) and possibly a new high flow converter and possibly a JT downpipe and expect them to do a good job fabricating the middle muffler replacement pipe and to have and use stainless steel band clamps and to put everything together well, or must one be careful/selective about who one goes to for installation?
>>> He's asked me to help him dismantle at time (the headgasket for one).
Hmmm, how much did you charge your mechanic...what is *your* labor rate!
