some tires are worse/better than others. Usually the noise increases as the tire wears because of the post aging of the compound due to heat stress cycles. The harder the compuond the noiser the tire. There is a point where increased hardness results in longer wear but not less noise. Afraid you will either have to live with it or replace them. As to wearing in center of tread, the pressure has been too high causing the foot print to be round instear of flat ()vicell (relatively speaking). Once the tread wear pattern has been established, it can not be improved much (unless you shave the tire by truing).
