I have a set of Kumho Ecsta's and have been quite pleased with their wet and dry performance. The tread life is also quite good. They are definitely not an all season tire. Their snow performance is not that great, but the place you really notice that they are a summer tire is on ice. Those thick chunky blocks that work so well in the rain give no directional stability on ice. All the snow tires that work on ice have those fine cuts (micro sipes or something like that) on the tread blocks to get a good grip. Plus, the rubber must be compliant below freezing temperatures, which doesn't seem to be conducive to long tread life in the summer.
