We (Wife &I) own a 90 9000T and I love it, she is long in the torso and sits too close to the wheel so she complains of not being able to see the guages on the 9000. She will only drive it if faced with walking in a blizzard. (That Bad!) We also own a 2001 Subaru Forester. She loves it because she can get in without a stepladder and out without a parachute. It is a snappy little sucker off the line (automatic all wheel drive), but it flattens out fast, milage is so-so but the 9000 with run it into the ground in all respects, milage, power, top, speed, comfort.. you name it. The "Roo" as we call it is naturally our traveling car because it is newer and I just went through a serious three weeks of the 9000 being down (turned out to be the Brain) It is as good as new now but her faith in it for trips ( I do all the driving) has evaporated.
Now IF the Roo had a saab engine and turbo! well... That would be SOME automobile. I know Subes come with V6 and the little one has a turbo but they just are NOT Saabs. The wide tires on the 9000 can get a bit squirrely in snow, and the all wheel drive if not handled correctly can be treacherous. Still a toss up.
