As I've mentioned here dozens of times, I'm also amazed by these tires, especially in the wet. Here in Louisiana we have a lot of wet surfaces to contend with, and they have gotten me out of some spots when panic stops halted me far short of what most other tires could do. I can do a 50-60 mph panic stop in the wet on a substandard road (read slick) with little or no ABS activity. They just stop almost as if the pavement was dry.

I had no rubbing problems with my '91 9KT these were installed on, but Quasimotor told me that his '91 9KT also has exhibited some minor rubbing in hard cornering. My present '95 Aero also has had no problems, but 205-55ZR-16 is the standard size for this car. Could there have been a fender-well mod somewhere along the line?

Quasi emailed me when he purchased his SZ50's for $75, an incredible steal, but although I didn't need tires I tried to get a set for my next replacement. Alas, they were sold out by that time. About two weeks later, Quasi emailed me again and said that the tires had re-appeared on the website still as a closeout, so I called them immediately and was able to buy the last two tires in the Tire Rack's inventory for $75 each. The salesman said there was a mad rush on those closeout tires, so appearently the tire's reputation has spread.
