i have an 86 and a 97. best thing i have found is to put mud flaps on from any place like autozone, gives you the rally car look too. i like the big ones that are made for pickup trucks. i also take the rubber trim off the door bottoms to ease cleaning and keep them dry. best of all is to wash the salt off often and wax before winter.
