The injector end of the lines is the same for both 900 & 99 applications. however, the fuel distributor end is not.
Most 99s, especially the early (75, 76, 77...) ones, use banjo fittings (line has a ring on the end, and a hollow bolt goes through the middle to secure it to the FD) on the fuel distributor.. All 900s, AFAIK, use a compression or flare-type fitting (line ends with a ball-type fitting with a hexagonal bit with internal threads, similar to the injector end). So, you wouldn't be able to just hook up the 900 lines to a 99.
The good news, though, is I don't believe the FD was actually changed. They simply screwed in an adapter to where the banjo bolt would go, allowing the flared-style end to connect.
One other thing to be careful of, is that there are subtle differences in where the FD is relative to the engine. Everything is relatively in the same place, but line lengths may pose an issue with abrasion (not good with a fuel line under 60+ PSI of pressure).
