I am going to say that the problem is not that the pump is providing too much pressure. The pump could potentially cause other issues, but the line pressure is controlled by the fuel distributor, and high pressure (for example due to a restricted return line) will actually cause the engine to run lean because the control pressure will rise. So, that is not likely it. If one injector is flowing too much fuel, it may be a case of a hole in the diaphragm in the fuel distributor (in that case you will have full fuel flow to one injector). I suppose it is possible to have more than one hole in the diaphragm and therefore have more than one injector flowing too much fuel. To check for this problem, move the car outside (very important), pull all 4 injectors out of the manifold but leave them connected to the fuel hoses. Put all 4 injectors in a large drain pan, or put each injector in a clear bottle so you can see the fuel flowing out of it. Have an assistant stand by with a fire extinguisher (very important) since you will be spraying fuel outside the engine. Next remove the fuel pump relay and insert a jumper wire so that the fuel pump runs. If you see one or more injectors spraying fuel when there is no airflow then you have one or more holes in the diaphram and must replace the fuel distributor. So, do that test and let us know! Also, is your car Lambda (oxygen sensor + catalyst) or not? If you have a Lambda car with the Lambda system not working that can cause a lot of problems. Good Luck!
