Sounds like you've got the Girling rear calipers. If the rest of the pad looks the same, is the same shape, etc. as the ones you removed, and the only thing preventing you from putting it together is a slight difference in the spacing of the holes in the pads, I'd just file the holes in the pads to get a fit.
The Girling rear calipers (they look like small versions of the 1975-1987 front calipers, but without a handbrake) from, I believe 75 through 76 or 77 are probably the rarest calipers out there for a 99. Finding an exact match for the pads today will be difficult, at best.
There are so many pads that have almost the same pad dimensions, backing plate dimensions, but differ slightly in the location of the holes, it's to be expected that pad makers cut their losses, and make a "one-size-fits-most" pad.
