Hi gents, rather depressed tonight. as you might remember me, I am the one who bought that nice 78 GL last November, you can look up my posting history and jog you memory. Well, the car checked out nicely. I stored it for the winter and pulled it out in May. Since I pulled it out, I have replaced the starter had brake work done, have had the engine tweaked and so on. I even had a set of Incas redone for the car. I paid top price for the car. Well tonight I heard a bang from the rear, I stopped and found the right rear shock mount in the wheel well blown through. The car was undercoated so I did no pick up on the rust. I bought it from a reputable guy who is an well known Indy, I know The shock mount has blown right through. Is this car done? can I have this area welded, the car looks absolutely perfect-Interior and exterior beautiful! Just wondering THANKS IN ADVANCE, Wanted to drive to Aurora with it.
