I recently saw a steering rack boot kit on eBay UK for £8 (about $13), claiming to fit the early '69-'73 steering racks, so I chanced it and ordered one since they were so cheap.

The seller is " doctor_car " and they still have them listed, I was out about $25 with shipping and they showed up about a week and a half after the order.

They are currently listed as item no. 120596371107

The small end boot fits fine, but the large end of the large boot is about 5mm too large.

I cut a slice of radiator hose that happened to be a snug fit on the rack to 'shim' the diameter out, and the large end boot fits perfectly.

I've had it filled with fluid for about a week and no leaks.
