99s use lug nuts, not bolts. The alloy wheels in the early days of the 99 & Classic 900 (Soccer Balls, Incas, etc.) take a shouldered nut that threads onto the stud and mates up to a flat surface on the wheel hub. There's a pilot section that goes inside the hole in the wheel & helps align the wheel to the hub. Later style alloys that fit the same cars (through MY 1987) take a tapered nut similar to, but not exactly the same as an old style steel wheel nut.
