Would a Vacuum booster cause a sticky pedal?

I thought a booster problem causes a hard pedal. There was no hissing.

When I took off the master from the booster, and peered in. It is canister with a big spring inside.

Gary, you are right about the safety thing. I did call white post yesterday, and was quoted 245.00. But, I still wondered if there was a place I can but it new. Skandix, list one for a Saab 96, which appears really close to the 99 master; which is listed for 145.

I'll check the 96 tomorrow, to confirm: yet ultimately, it'll probably go to White Post.


But your 77, uses a Girling master cylinder-correct? There are plenty of new ones on the market, which retails a bit over 100 dollars
