Justin,
I am traveling until Friday, but I can look up the wiring diagram this weekend if you still need it. In addition to the battery cable, there is the thicker grey cable which goes to the alternator - I think that would connect to the same terminal as the battery cable. The brown wire with the small connector goes to the vacuum impulse contact (that's the round black can on the rad support with the vacuum hose. I think there's a yellow one which might be the one which goes to the relay. I'm not sure about the 4th one, will have to look. What color is that? Basically, it seems like the start relay should send voltage/current to the solenoid through one of the wires. You should be able to figure out which terminal on the solenoid that goes to by jumpering 12V to terminals until you find the one that activates the solenoid. I think that the (probably yellow) wire from the relay to the solenoid and the brown wire from the solenoid to the vacuum impulse contact are electrically tied to each other.
Somebody who has a wiring diagram in front of them, feel free to point out that I'm becoming old and senile and don't remember any of this correctly. :-) All I know is, my Turbo wouldn't cold start very well when the brown wire fell off at the starter....
Good luck!
Gary
