Alright, you got the pressure plate photos in the last post, here are the disc photos. And, for the sake of symmetry, here are the pressure plate comments :-)
I measured a couple of dimensions on the pressure plates and it looks like they are pretty well "swappable" in terms of finger height, friction surface height, etc. But I don't know why you would use a new pressure plate with an old disc unless you get the old disc re-lined.
As far as the question about using the old through out bearing (flat face) with the new pressure plate, I see no reason from looking at the parts why you couldn't use either pressure plate with either throw-out bearing/slave cylinder. I guess the bottom line is that it appears (keep in mind how much you paid for this advice!) that you could install a new slave/TO with an existing (old style) pressure plate.
