Keeping a 99 as a driver - fuel delivery question... Posted by BAAB [Email] (#1214) [Profile/Gallery] (more from BAAB) on Thu, 21 Aug 2014 15:17:25 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I have a 1979 900 GLE, and so I am aware of the lack of parts and the expense of certain fuel injection parts for the stock b engine. However, I really do love the way the b engine runs and am wanting to keep the b engine in my 99 rather than doing a conversion, but in order to keep the car on the road for years to come, would I be better off in the long term switching to either a carb setup, or a megasquirt injection setup since the Saab/jetronic parts are getting harder to acquire and maintain?
I would like to hear any stories on what people have tried with the b engine, and opinions on what works well or not.
Much thanks!
