Sounds good, I'm glad you found a good car to work with. The only comment I would have is that I always advise against the electric water pump converstion. The original pumps are well understood at this point, and as long as the coolant is kept fresh they will work for many, many years without any proplems. The parts are readily available (eEuroparts), and any of the shops we talked about (such as J&B Imports) will have the tools and expertise to install it correctly. Basically the only "trick" to it is machining the sealing surface on the impeller and setting the cover clearance, but you just need to know to do that, neither is particularly difficult.
