I'm finishing up the reawakening of my 74 EMS, and have hit two potholes in the road to success. First, does anyone have a method, bright idea about getting the trunk counterbalance springs installed? The manuals show a Saab special tool, but I know that won't be found unless some one has one out there. The body guy I've used for over a dozen years looked at it and handed me a broom handle and said "live with it"....I've spent way to much time, effort and $$ for that.

Second, does any one have a source for interior trim. The PO had taken out the headliner and the trim pieces surrounding it and the estate I bought it from could not locate any of the missing stuff. I've been looking through the classifieds since I started working on it last year, but have not seen a single reference to what I'm needing.
