Ok thanks Gary. This matches the other info I've gotten, and at the end of the day, experimenting is probably the best way to tell for sure. It's pretty cheap and fast to do this, and of course I'll keep the stock parts (!) to go back to the original setup if I want to. Since I'm more of a gas mileage geek than a go fast guy, I'm hoping the bigger exhaust just helps the motor breathe easier and I can get another MPG or two. I agree, the claimed 7-12% seems pretty high but I have no training or experience, so I consult! Thanks again.
