There are four brackets all attached to the body behind the bumper. The two brackets behind the bumper, left and right offset about a foot from center, attach with two small phillips sheet metal screws each. A larger bolt attaches the two other brackets (to the body) behind either end of the bumper. The nut mount is flush with the body, so isn't conspicuous.

The entire shell is painted underneath this area since it's the same body as the other models.

I can post photos if you want.

Please be careful removing it. You might want to put it back on some day. It's a rare part and worth something. I would buy it myself as I don't have this and am restoring my EMS to original. You could auction it or put it on the classifieds here as I'm sure there are others that might want it too.
