Thanks -- I suspected an 86 900, but I think it would be only the 8 valve engine type. The 16 valve engine uses a different pump insert ( smaller diameter )

From other cross referencing, I see that it could be a 1986 era 9000 pump basket as the same diameter pump is used in that basket as the one I'm looking at.

I got the pump assembly in a hoard of parts I rescued, it was the lone pump with that larger hole for the mechanical insert....I couldn't find a part number on the pump itself, so no tracking it down in the EPC.

I'll run this over to the 9000 board.
