Josh,
you can buy a rebuild kit to replace all the seals and the bearing from a few sources. I have the b-engine water pump from hell that wont seal in my 79 900 turbo and have bought one kit from the factory and two from Thesaabsite.com. I have found the kits from thesaabsite to be a little better quality than the ones from the factory. Oh from either of those sources they run about 45-50 dollars. If you are in need of a new impeller or shaft you better be ready to shell out some bucks. I think beck-arnley makes a kit for around $250. I know my local advanced auto parts lists a different kit for around $200. Sometimes a company called vintage imports lists them on ebay for buy it now of 45. I recommend staying away from them b/c i just bought shaft/impeller kit from them and wasnt too impressed. I was sent a tapered impeller and a straight shaft...hmmm...dont think those work together. I also cant get them to respond to my emails to fix the problem. Anyway hope you have more luck fixing yours than i have. I have mine all taken apart as we speak and am going to machine all the pitting out of the seal area on the impeller then put a shim under the friction seal to increase the contact pressure. Third time is the charm, right!
