I think I win the distance award for the moment (I'm sure there's a few further afield. I'm English born and bred. Lived in Chelmsford, Essex all my life except for 3 years when I was at uni in Hull. I lved tehre for about half the year when I was there.

I found my 99T in a garage of a colleage (who told be about it). I'd never heard of a Saab 99 then. I knew what a 900 and an 9000 was, and seen some newer ones but nto taken any notice. When I saw this poor thing covered in dust looking forgotten, I couldn't resist (and this was after someone from Saab Owners Club GB had rejected it as too far gone!). That was March last year. I'm somewhat poorer now, but I don't half have a fun car! I've learnt a LOT about cars along the way, especially about Saabs and turbocharging, but I still have a hell of a lot to learn!
