I replaced the automatic transmission with a manual in my 1945 99LE. As long as you continue with a B engine, engine mounts don't change, and the primary gear cover of the 900 will have to be replaced with one from a 99. You may have to weld an aluminium piece at the bottom of the cover to seal the primary gear housing as these have been modified some time. As DougM wrote, the PS piping around the clutch master cylinder becomes very tight, and luckily, I didn't touch the master cilinder since the conversion 195000 miles ago. When installing a 16 valve or even an H engine, you will have to modify the firewall. Tese 2 engines share the same block, and finding H engine mounts for 99 would be very easy to in Europe, esspecially in Sweden, Finland and UK. Good luck, Oren
