Saab 99 Gle frustrating starting conflict

Hello Saabers,
I have a frustrating conflict. My 99 is not getting fuel to the cylinders. I've changed the fuel pump, relay, filer, fuel distributor and there is gas in the tank. I know all of these parts are good. When I bypass the fuel relay, and elevate the plate...fuel emerges. When I crank the car, fuel does not emerge from the lines. The engine had cut off whilst driving and it sounded and felt as if it was out of petrol.
Any help would be worshipped and thank you in advance.
