I could get as high as 21 mpg if I drove the car real easy, but if I put the petal to the floor and let that turbo spool up it would get down to about 17 mpg. In town I was getting somewhere between 14 and 18 mpg.

What are people getting mileage wise in there saab 99 ems? I've been traking the milage on my 76 99 ems the last 1500 miles and have found that I am getting about 18 mpg. I've seen as high as 22 mpg on the high way going about 55 and as low as 14 mpg with pretty much all in town driving. I seem to be at 19 to 20 mpg on the freeway at 75 mph.
